Protection Meditation

PROTECTION MEDITAITON

-to be recorded (speak slowly and use a calm voice) and listened back to as needed

Close your eyes and call in your breath

take three deep breaths.

Settle into your body

Feel the heaviness, feel the support of whatever you are sitting on.

Slowly begin to scan the body from head to toe, observing — without judgement — how you feel in your body today.

Again, continue to breathe deeply and slowly.

Now, imagine a root beginning to grow

down from your heart,

down through your body,

down through the pelvic floor,

down into the Earth, past the soil

down through the clay, through the bedrock and the stone

down through the layers of the Earth,

through the mycelial network,

through the caverns and primordial waters,

down until it meets the vital golden center of the Earth

the healing golden energy center of our Earth.

Allow that healing golden energy to begin to travel up your root,

up through the layers of the Earth,

up into your body, up into the heart

allow this energy to fill your heart,

tending any heart wounds that may need tending,

and as it fills your heart, allow it to begin to spill out into the body,

filling the body, tending to any wounds in the body that may need tending

and as your body becomes full of this golden healing light,

allow it to begin to surrounding the body,

to continue to grow, to surround the energetic bodies,

allow this golden energy to grow to surround the room that you are in

the space you are in,

and the land that you are on.

May this energy field act as a barrier so that only well, healthy, healing energy may be welcome in this space.

Call in your protectors, your ancient well ancestors

Call in your guides and the beings who you walk with

and ask them to hold this perimeter of golden light protection

to keep out any energy that is not helpful or healing

that energy is not welcome here

feel their protection.

After a few moments of silence and breath

When you are ready,

you can gently opening your eyes and come back into the space you are in

Know that you are protected.

*** I usually do this meditation before bed so that I don't get bothered while I'm sleeping but you can do it anytime you feel like their might be unwell energies around. Or anytime you would like to feel more grounded and connected with Spirit.
